FAQs
Straight answers,
no waffle.
The questions we get asked most, answered honestly. Can't find yours? Just ask, we reply within 24 hours.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on what you need, which is why every quote is custom. A simple brochure site costs a lot less than an online shop with hundreds of products. Tell us what you are after and we will give you a clear, fixed price within 24 hours. No hourly rates, no surprises.
How long does it take to build a site?
Most small business sites go live within 2 to 4 weeks of the go-ahead. Bigger builds like online shops can take a little longer. We will give you an honest timeline with your quote, and we stick to it.
Do I own my website?
Yes, completely. Your domain, your content and your site belong to you. If you ever want to move elsewhere, we will hand everything over neatly. No hostage-taking.
Can I update the site myself?
Absolutely. Every site comes with a simple admin area where you can edit text, swap images and add new content without touching any code. We will show you how it all works before launch.
Do you do hosting?
We do. Fast, reliable UK hosting with daily backups and security updates included in our care plans. You can host elsewhere if you prefer, and we will help you get set up either way.
Will my site show up on Google?
Every site we build is structured so search engines can read it properly, and we submit it to Google at launch. Climbing the rankings for competitive searches takes ongoing work, and we can help with that too if you want it.
What do you need from me to get started?
Not much. A rough idea of what you want, any text and photos you already have, and your logo if you have one. Missing bits are not a problem: we can write copy, source imagery and even design you a logo.
What if I already have a website?
No problem at all. We can refresh what you have or rebuild it from scratch, and we will handle moving everything over, including keeping your Google rankings intact.
